The Sacred Scarab represents a new beginning or rebirth. This speaks to my journey of becoming an acupuncturist.

Sacred Scarab Acupuncture employs a hybrid approach drawing from TCM, 5 Element, and channel theory to address patient ailments including pain, infertility, digestive issues, immune support, or anxiety.

Our Services

Acupuncture

Our bodies are quite adept at repairing themselves. We use methods that aid that natural ability with modalities like acupuncture, moxibustion, heat or light therapy, gua sha, cupping, reiki, shiatsu, tui na, and nutritional and supplement suggestions. An initial (new patient) session involves an in-depth health history review, physical examination, review of needs, and a complete 1-hour treatment session (75 minutes, $140). Follow-up sessions include a brief symptom review and treatment (50 minutes, $110). 

 

Facial Rejuvenation

Facial acupuncture, and adjunctive therapies, are a natural way to fight the signs of aging. Acupuncture in the face and neck can induce collagen and elastin production, ease fine lines and wrinkles, reduce dark circles, lift eyelids, decrease puffiness, and even-out skin tone. This treatment includes full body acupuncture as well to continue to address any physical pain or systemic issues you may have. A full session includes facial acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha (90 minutes, $175). A mini session includes facial acupuncture ONLY (50 minutes, $120).

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique used for stress reduction, relaxation, and energy balancing.  It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind, and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. Reiki can be "added-on" to a follow-up acupuncture session (90 minutes, $165).

 

Community Acupuncture

Community acupuncture is a way for multiple people to effectively benefit from acupuncture in a shared space and at a reduced cost. Treatments are conducted in a quiet, comfortable, and shared space utilizing points on the body largely located on the head and neck, elbows to fingers, and knees to feet. Community acupuncture is widely believed to be more powerful than private acupuncture because each patient is benefitting from the collective healing energy in the room.
